Ahmed J. Vero-Bazile, CEO
I began my career in the early 2000s in the world of finance, where I had the privilege of working at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). My time at PwC was marked by a dedication to excellence and a passion for financial markets. I quickly rose through the ranks, honing my skills in financial analysis, auditing, and Risk management. My expertise and strategic vision positioned me as a rising star in the industry.
However, a personal tragedy struck, causing me to reevaluate my career path and embark on a profound spiritual journey. This pivotal moment in my life led me to question the true meaning and impact of my work. Inspired by a desire to make a more significant and meaningful difference in the world, I made the bold decision to transition from finance to human services.
This decision, which initially seemed like a "no brainer," proved to be transformative for me. My commitment to helping others and passion for social justice fueled my new career path. I began working for several nonprofit organizations, including The Fortune Society and Samaritan Daytop Village, where I made a tangible impact on the lives of non-domiciled individuals and people suffering with addiction.
Currently, I serve as the Senior Employment Manager at Commonpoint. In this role, I have continued to empower and uplift individuals by providing vocational training, workforce development programs, and essential support services. My leadership and expertise have enabled countless individuals to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential.
My journey from finance to human services has not only been a testament to my resilience and adaptability but also to my unwavering commitment to making a positive difference in the world. My work with nonprofits has emboldened me to branch out and cut a path that speaks directly to my own community. I envision a world with no limits, where every individual has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.
Through my dedication, compassion, and vision, I continue to inspire and create lasting change in the lives of those I serve, embodying the true spirit of service and community.

My Journey from Finance to Human Services
I am a commercial consulting professional passionate about creating meaningful connections. My professional journey has equipped me with unique skills that I now apply to a project close to my heart: a platform dedicated to LGBTQ+ couples, particularly those in long-distance relationships.
My professional experience, particularly at LexisNexis and SFR Business, has taught me the art of communication, negotiation, and consulting. As a Commercial Engineer and Key Account Manager, I've developed the ability to understand and effectively respond to complex client needs.
Living in Paris, my relationship with my husband, who lives in the United States, was the catalyst for this project. We realized there was a lack of comprehensive resources to help LGBTQ+ couples navigate the administrative and legal challenges of international relationships.
My goal is simple: to help every member of the LGBTQ+ community fully live their relationship, with full knowledge of their rights. With my Community Manager diploma and digital marketing experience, I aim to create an informative, secure, and inclusive space. This project is more than just a website. It's a personal commitment to equality, understanding, and mutual support within our community.
